Tradition and modernity in a home bathed in light
The Brief
The Jersey Haven is a 609.83 m² single-family home located in an exclusive residential neighborhood of New Jersey, near prominent schools and surrounded by nature. The project was born with the purpose of combining tradition and modernity, creating a bright, welcoming home fully integrated into its environment. Through the use of noble materials and intelligent spatial organization, the home balances elegance, functionality, and family comfort.
Project Scope
The house is structured around an interior patio that acts as a nucleus of light and natural ventilation, visually connecting the three levels. On the ground floor are the social areas—living room, dining room, and open kitchen—conceived as a fluid and spacious area, where transparency and the relationship with the exterior take center stage.The upper level houses the private bedrooms, designed to ensure privacy and well-being, while the basement houses leisure and wellness areas with visual access to the garden, maintaining the connection with nature at all times.The exterior architecture combines reinterpreted sloping roofs and large porches, evoking the language of American residential tradition, but with a contemporary expression based on pure lines and balanced proportions. The materials—natural stone, solid wood, and large glazed surfaces—reinforce the timeless and luminous character of the home.
The result is a home that combines elegance and functionality, where each space is designed to offer comfort, warmth, and a constant relationship with light and the landscape.
Between stone, wood, and light, The Jersey Haven reinterprets the American residential tradition with a contemporary language, creating a home where elegance and daily life coexist in harmony.
