An intervention that unites the brilliance of the past with the precision of the present.
The Brief
The project is developed in the Grau jewelry store, on Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona, with the purpose of integrating a new sales area for vintage jewelry and the official Rolex workshop. The intervention arises from the desire to transform a technical and closed space into an environment that reflects the elegance, precision, and quality of the world of fine jewelry. The design had to reinterpret the essence of the Grau brand, maintaining coherence with its identity and elevating both the commercial and technical experience.
Project Scope
The action involved a complete reorganization of the existing basement to optimize routes and generate a smooth transition between the exhibition area and the technical workshop. The commercial area was conceived with a neutral and sophisticated language, in which high-quality materials—stone, metal, and upholstered fabrics—enhance the value of the exhibited pieces.
As a distinctive element, a fabric with an exclusive client motif was incorporated into the upholstered panels, providing visual identity and a touch of personalization. This detail, together with the carefully calibrated lighting, gives the space a warm and refined atmosphere.
At the end of the tour is the official Rolex workshop, designed in accordance with the brand’s standards and incorporating specific equipment for high-precision work. The coexistence between the technical and commercial areas is resolved through a balance between functionality and aesthetics, achieving a visual and material continuity between both.

Between noble materials and precise light, the space combines the heritage of vintage jewelry with the technical excellence of Rolex, creating an environment where every detail reflects perfection and character.
Ujo+partners directed all phases of the process—from conceptual design to manufacturing, assembly, and quality control—guaranteeing a result where technique and beauty coexist in perfect harmony.
