The Brief
The project consists of the comprehensive renovation of a 170 m² apartment on Avenida Pedralbes in Barcelona, designed for a family with three young children. The intervention seeks to create a sophisticated, functional, and durable home, where aesthetics and daily life coexist naturally. Inspired by a classic and European style, the design combines elegance, warmth, and practicality in every detail.
Project Scope
“The project’s style merges references from Parisian charm, British sobriety, and the cozy atmosphere of Ralph Lauren Home. The selected materials—natural oak wood, classic moldings, linen, velvet, and tartan—provide texture, depth, and a timeless character. Contrasts in anthracite gray tones add balance and modernity to the overall composition.
The layout is intelligently organized to adapt to the needs of an active family. Spacious and functional areas allow for both the free play of children and the rest and privacy of adults. Integrated storage has been incorporated into all rooms, along with carefully studied indirect lighting that creates different environments depending on the time of day.
The result is a European-spirited home, elegant and comfortable, that combines the beauty of classic design with contemporary practicality. A space that conveys balance, harmony, and warmth, designed to be lived to the fullest.”
