Architectural elegance at the service of fashion

The Brief
The project corresponds to the first boutique of the women’s haute couture firm in the city of Almaty. The intervention was developed following the image criteria defined by David Chipperfield for the brand, adapting them to the scale and particularities of the building that houses other international boutiques. In addition to the interior adaptation, the project included the integral rehabilitation of the facade, both of the Valentino store and the rest of the commercial spaces of the complex, unifying its architectural presence.
Project Scope
The interior design adheres to the brand’s corporate guidelines, where formal purity, material sobriety, and precision in details are essential. The spaces are organized in an orderly and fluid manner, combining marble, natural stone, and satin metals with warm and enveloping lighting that highlights the texture of the materials and the value of the exhibited pieces.

The facade was completely renovated, reinterpreting the principles of the original architecture and providing a renewed image to the commercial complex. The intervention integrates the boutique within the building without losing the firm’s own identity, generating visual continuity and balance between the different brands present.

Ujo+partners was responsible for the executive development, manufacturing, assembly, coordination, and quality control of the project, ensuring a precise result faithful to the standards of excellence of international haute couture.
