A design that unites identity, luxury, and precision in a single gesture
The Brief
The project consists of the renovation and expansion of The Red House jewelry store, located on Main Street, Gibraltar. The intervention had to integrate three distinct spaces—The Red House jewelry store, and the exclusive Rolex and Tudor areas—within a unified architectural ensemble. The challenge was to create a unique identity for the host brand without losing the elegance and distinctive language of the major watchmakers that coexist in the same environment.
Project Scope
The proposal articulates the space around a new facade that redefines the relationship between interior and exterior. The use of travertine marble and anodized aluminum gives the front of the premises a timeless presence, generating a balance between the solidity of the stone material and the lightness of the metal. This composition unifies the two original premises and energizes the perception from the street, inviting visitors to discover the interior.
Inside, the distribution is organized to offer a fluid experience between the three areas, maintaining the individual identity of each brand but within a common atmosphere of elegance and precision. The materiality aligns with the essence of each firm: nobility, quality, and attention to detail.
The interior design of The Red House acquires its own character through a combination of warm textures, precise lighting, and custom-made furniture, which reinforce the exclusivity of the jewelry store and the overall coherence of the project.
Marble, metal, and light combine to shape a space where tradition and modernity, precision and emotion coexist: a jewelry store that reflects the contemporary elegance of Gibraltar.
