A design that combines identity, luxury, and precision in a single gesture
The Brief
The project involves the renovation and expansion of The Red House jewelry store, located on Main Street in Gibraltar. The design was intended to integrate three distinct spaces—The Red House jewelry store and the exclusive Rolex and Tudor areas—into a unified architectural whole. The challenge was to create a unique identity for the host brand without compromising the elegance and distinctive style of the prestigious watchmakers that share the same space.
Scope of the project
The design organizes the space around a new façade that redefines the relationship between interior and exterior. The use of travertine marble and anodized aluminum gives the building’s front a timeless presence, striking a balance between the solidity of the stone and the lightness of the metal. This composition unifies the two original spaces and energizes the street-level view, inviting visitors to discover the interior.
Inside, the layout is organized to offer a seamless experience across the three areas, maintaining each brand’s individual identity while fostering a shared atmosphere of elegance and precision. The materials align with the essence of each brand: nobility, quality, and attention to detail.
The interior design of The Red House takes on its own character through a combination of warm textures, precise lighting, and custom-made furniture, which reinforce the exclusivity of the jewelry and the overall coherence of the project.
Marble, metal, and light come together to create a space where tradition and modernity, precision and emotion coexist: a jewelry store that reflects Gibraltar’s contemporary elegance.
